Duran Contemporain is pleased to present a selection of works by Rosalie Gamache, Michelle Paterok, and Inés Fernández-Shaw at the Contemporary Art Now fair in Madrid.

This presentation brings together three distinct painting practices that explore questions of perception, representation, and the construction of the image. Although each artist develops a unique visual language, their works share a sustained focus on the materiality of paint as well as the subtle tensions between figuration, atmosphere, and abstraction.

Cette présentation réunit trois pratiques picturales distinctes qui abordent les questions de perception, de représentation et de construction de l’image. Bien que chaque artiste développe un langage visuel singulier, leurs œuvres partagent une attention soutenue à la matérialité de la peinture ainsi qu’aux tensions subtiles entre figuration, atmosphère et abstraction.
